Who we are
Michael Stewart BA/LLB; Acc.M.LEADR

Michael Stewart is a lawyer of 25 years’ experience with an extensive litigation background. He has particular expertise in complex insurance, medical and commercial matters with an interest in personal injuries, product liability and medical malpractice. He is a recognised dispute resolution provider in the health, aged care and disability service sectors.

Michael is a LEADR qualified and nationally accredited mediator. He is also a qualified Conflict Coach. He is well known in the national insurance industry and has been active in alternative dispute resolution throughout his career.

Michael is a dynamic and experienced trainer who has a hands-on approach to developing and delivering skills training.


Deborah Forsyth LLB; Acc M.LEADR; FDRP

Deborah Forsyth is a lawyer of 20 years’ experience with particular expertise in complex family law disputes.

She is a LEADR qualified and nationally accredited mediator and registered with the Federal Attorney-General’s Department as Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner.

For two years Deborah was a conciliator under the Tasmanian Magistrates Court (Civil Division) Rules 1998 and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act 2001. She is currently a member of the Adults Advisory Council to the Tasmanian Commissioner for Children; Women’s Network Australia; Women on Boards and Tasmanian Women Lawyers.

Deborah is passionate about the practice of dispute resolution and is a highly sought-after trainer in the area. She is a professional and engaging expert in skills-training development and delivery.
