Michael Stewart is a lawyer of 25 years’ experience with a litigation background. 

He has particular expertise in complex insurance, medical and commercial matters with an interest in personal injuries, product liability and medical malpractice. 

Michael is a LEADR qualified mediator.  He is well known in the national insurance industry and has been active in alternative dispute resolution throughout his career.  

He is sensitive to issues relating to cultural diversity and ethnicity and has a particular interest in the Tasmanian migrant community, acting as a literacy tutor.

Deborah Forsyth is a lawyer of 20 years’ experience with particular expertise in complex family law disputes. 

She is a LEADR qualified mediator and registered with the Federal Attorney General’s Department as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. 

She acts as a conciliator under the Tasmanian Magistrates Court (Civil Division) Rules 1998 and the Alternative Dispute Resolution Act 2001 and is on the Adults Advisory Council to the Tasmanian Commissioner for Children.

Deborah also has experience in facilitating community consultation and workplace change with small or larger groups.  She also has experience dealing with issues relating to cultural and workplace diversity.
